HAPPY BIRTHDAY HCT!!!

Yes, it is hard to believe that it has been 1 whole year since the creation of what we know will be the biggest comedy event ever! “Did I miss the tour?” “I didn't hear anything about it in my state last year.” No, the actual tour has not begun yet. Due to financial setbacks we had to postpone the tour until this year. We are still doing what needs to be done to get the “machine” built needed to effectively operate this tour. The donations are not pouring in like we would have liked. The sponsors are not knocking down our doors as we would have liked but that will not stop our efforts to make it happen. Anything worth its weight in gold is going to be difficult in the beginning stages. When this tour was started, it was on a hope and a dream. A wing and a prayer. It wasn't born with a silver spoon. It was born from love of fellow man and a man who was homeless himself. This one man is still fighting the good fight no matter the obstacles and the naysayers.

DETERMINATION!

There is no doubt about that we have run into obstacles. We have encountered scam artist who have ripped us off by way of a charity benefit we did out in California last year. That was a setback and a learning experience to say the least. People have come and gone. Made promises and broke them left and right for various reasons. No matter what has happened in the last year we will continue fighting the good fight and make it to the finish line!

THE PLAN FOR 2011

The plan of action for 2011 is to retool our plan of action. Our goal is the same. Our tactics and path to reach our goal have to be modified based solely on our financial and staffing resources. We feel once we have our non-profit status it will give us a better advantage to carry out allot of our major tasks.

We have the corp status but need the non-profit status. This year, we will complete the 501(c)3 filling status which will cost us a little money. The folks who were handling that last year bailed on us for personal reasons so we have to pick up the pieces. The money for that will come out of the pockets of the HCT founders and some donations that were given throughout 2010.

In this first quarter we will complete the pilot episode of the television project entitled, “Homeless”. We feel the completion of this project will allow us to proceed with the tour as it should be. This show will be the machine needed to power the tour because of the popularity television can bring.

The bottom line is that we have allot of road ahead of us before we have a successful running machine. In other words, a solid foundation is what is needed before we can stand strong. No preaching and no finger pointing on why this tour hasn't happened yet. This is being done from the heart and soul and pocket book of one man... Amaru. If you can do better then do it!
